RS 41:964 - Lands to which applicable The authority given by this Subpart shall apply to all sixteenth sections donated by congress to this state in trust for public school purposes, and to which the state has never legally parted with the title. The suits herein authorized may be brought against those who claimed the right to cut and remove timber from any such lands, under color of title.
