RS 42:1403 - Nominations by petition; conduct of election; secret ballot Nomination as a candidate for the office of employee member of the commission shall be by petition of at least thirty permanent employees in the classified state police service. Such petition shall be filed with the director of the state police service not later than seven working days after the call for the election. The director shall be responsible for conducting and supervising the election, which shall be by secret ballot. Acts 1990, No. 788, §1, eff. Nov. 7, 1990.
