RS 42:186 - Authentication and recordation of bonds The bond of any public officer shall be authenticated by the attestations of two witnesses and the signature of the recorder; it shall also be recorded in a separate book kept for that purpose, and it shall also be registered in the mortgage records of the several parishes where the principal obligor may own real estate.
