RS 43:211 - Alienation, encumbrance, or lease of immovable property; description in advertisement or publication of notice In all cases in which the law requires the advertisement or publication of notice of an alienation, encumbrance, or lease of immovable property, the description of the property in the advertisement or publication of notice by lot and subdivision or municipal number or by section, township, and range, including some identifying mark, if appropriate, and a reference to the conveyance or mortgage recordation shall be a legally sufficient description.
