RS 44:327 - Effect of recording certified copies of reestablished records The recordation of any certified copy of any deed, bond, mortgage, judgment or other instrument of writing, shall have the same force and effect as the recording of the original deed, bond, mortgage, judgment or other instrument of writing which was destroyed.
