RS 44:404 - State archivist The secretary will appoint a professionally qualified state archivist and director of the division of archives, records management, and history who shall have administrative responsibility for the division and shall serve as the archivist of the state of Louisiana. All administrative duties and functions of this Chapter shall be exercised by the state archivist acting under the direction and supervision of the secretary.
