RS 45:1096 - Joint rates; division of proceeds Before the promulgation of rates and charges thus adopted by the Louisiana Public Service Commission, the commission shall notify the railroads and other common carriers, express, telegraph and telephone companies interested, of the proposed schedule of joint through rates to be promulgated by the commission, and shall allow them thirty days thereafter to agree upon a division of the charges provided for in such schedule. If the companies fail to agree upon a division, and notify the commission thereof, it shall, after a hearing of the companies interested, decide the matter and determine how the division should be made.
