RS 45:1164.7 - Ballot; majority determination of issues When such election has been ordered the following proposition shall be plainly printed upon the ballot to be used for the election: Shall the Public Service Commission regulate the _____ (public utility) owned by _____ (the political subdivision)?. . . Yes_____ No______ If the voter desires to vote yes on the proposition he shall make an X mark in the square opposite the word yes. To vote no he shall make an X mark in the square opposite the word no. A majority vote cast on the proposition shall determine the issue for the municipality or political subdivision.
