RS 45:1164.9 - Violation of standards for petition or election; nullity of election If the provisions of R.S. 45:1164.1-45:1164.13 are not substantially complied with, the election shall be illegal and ineffective and enjoined or declared null and void by any court of competent jurisdiction at the suit of any elector who was qualified to vote in the election. Such a suit must be brought before thirty days after the promulgation of the results of the election. Added by Acts 1975, No. 328, §2.
