RS 45:1504 - Interconnection with telephone facilities Each radio common carrier holding a certificate from the commission may interconnect its common carrier radio telephone facilities with the telephone facilities of the telephone company serving the area in which the base station of the radio common carrier is located, provided an agreement can be reached between the radio common carrier and the serving telephone company providing for such interconnection; provided further, that when an agreement cannot be reached between the radio common carrier and the serving telephone company, the radio common carrier may petition the commission for the right of interconnection and if the commission finds that a necessity exists therefor, such interconnection shall be ordered by the commission on such reasonable terms as shall be set by the commission.
