RS 45:200.16 - Construction The Legislature hereby declares that R.S. 45:200.1 through 45:200.15 is remedial in nature and shall be construed liberally in favor of the public in general, and the users of public carrier vehicles in particular, and to exact strict compliance by the owners and operators of public carrier vehicles with the requirements of R.S. 45:200.1-45:200.14.
