RS 45:3 - Form of bond; beneficiaries The bond shall be drawn in favor of the governor, but it shall inure to the benefit of anyone having an interest therein who has a right of action thereon in his own name for the recovery of any loss or damage to his person or property, or any other loss or damage which he may sustain, or for the recovery of such damages as he may be entitled to recover as the one to whom such right of action survives, in case of death.
