RS 45:786 - Suit for error, delay or failure to deliver message; prescription; notice of claim Suits for damages against telegraph companies arising from any error in the transmission of the message, delay in delivery or the failure to deliver the message, may be brought at any time within one year from the date of the act complained of, if notice to the company of the claim is presented in writing within four months after the telegram is filed for transmission.
