RS 45:856 - Special counsel for state in rate and transportation cases The attorney general may employ special counsel versed in handling traffic matters, and other experts as may be necessary, to prosecute and defend before the Interstate Commerce Commission and other federal commissions, and both state and federal courts, rate and transportation cases, and to defend before these courts other cases involving rates of various utilities subject to the jurisdiction of the Louisiana Public Service Commission in which the state and its people have an interest.
