RS 46:1 - Definitions As used in this Title, the following definitions shall apply: (1) 'Assistance' means money payments under this Title. (2) 'Department' means the Department of Children and Family Services or the Louisiana Department of Health. (3) 'Parish director' means the director of the parish or district office. (4) 'Parish or district office' means parish or district office of the Department of Children and Family Services or the Louisiana Department of Health. (5) 'Recipient' means the person who has received assistance under this Title. (6) 'Secretary' means the secretary of the Department of Children and Family Services or the Louisiana Department of Health. Amended by Acts 1978, No. 786, §6, eff. July 17, 1978; H.C.R.
