RS 46:1062 - Rules and regulations; contracts The hospital district or the commission of the hospital district shall have the power, and it shall be their duty to adopt rules and regulations for the proper conduct and operation of any hospital or medical facilities under its administration. They shall have the power and authority to enter into contracts for the construction of hospitals and medical facilities necessary for the administration of services for their district.
