RS 46:112 - Payment for funeral of recipient On the death of the recipient or person for whom assistance is granted, reasonable funeral expenses may be paid, subject to the rules and regulations of the state department, if the estate of the deceased is insufficient to pay them and there are no responsible relatives able to pay them.
