RS 46:15 - Counsel for hospitals The attorney general shall designate counsel to represent state hospitals in all claims and cases arising under this Chapter, and whenever so designated and a claim is placed in his hands the counsel shall be paid by the hospital a fee of twenty-five percent of the first five hundred dollars collected, twenty percent of the next five hundred dollars collected and fifteen percent of the excess of one thousand dollars collected, said fee to be paid out of any funds accruing to the hospital by reason of the claim or case.
