RS 46:284 - Confidentiality of records of investigation; penalty A. Any information derived from the investigation required by this Subpart, including the source of information, and any conclusions or recommendations based on the information shall be confidential, shall not be transmitted outside of the office of community services, and shall not be transmitted within that office except to the extent necessary for the purpose of evaluating the application. Such information shall be made available, upon request of the applicant, to the applicant or his designee, except as prohibited from disclosure by R.S. 46:56. B. Whoever violates any provision of this Section shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than six months or a fine of not more than five hundred dollars, or both.
