RS 47:1912 - Holidays The office of assessor in each parish within the parishes of Terrebonne and Lafourche of the state shall remain open each day of the year except on the whole of every Saturday and Sunday and on New Year's Day, Mardi Gras, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Good Friday, All Saints' Day and Veterans' Day. If in any year Christmas or New Year's Day falls on a Sunday, the Monday following shall be a holiday. Added by Acts 1966, No. 153, §1. Amended by Acts 1968, No. 50, §3; H.C.R.
