RS 47:1925.5 - Enforcement of millage rollbacks; resolutions of taxing authorities The legislative auditor shall have the authority to and responsibility for enforcing the mandatory adjustment of millages by each taxing authority as provided under this Part. The tax assessor shall submit a copy of the resolution of each taxing authority levying taxes hereunder for approval by the legislative auditor no later than the first day of August in the year following the year in which the district is implemented.
