RS 47:287.741 - Special rule for leases Special federal rules for leases or finance leases shall be ignored in the determination of gross income, allowable deductions, net income, and Louisiana net income under this Part. For purposes of this Section, 'special federal rules for leases or finance leases' means Section 168(f)(8) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as amended by the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982 and the Tax Reform Act of 1984, and such provisions, portions, or principles thereof as are retained in federal law by the transitional rules of the Tax Reform Act of 1986.
