RS 48:1000 - Ferries; free passage to parish governing authorities A. The free right of passage over any public ferry which moves between two landings located in the same parish and which is leased out or controlled by the state, parish, or municipality for which license is paid or toll exacted shall provide for free passage of all employees of parish governing authorities in official parish governing authority vehicles in their passage to and from work on an official project of the parish governing authority, provided that rules are adopted in accordance with the provisions of Subsection B of this Section. B. The Department of Transportation and Development shall, in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, adopt rules and regulations for the efficient implementation and enforcement of the provisions of this Section.
