RS 48:111 - General counsel and assistants; qualifications The secretary of the Department of Transportation and Development may employ a general counsel and such assistants as he finds necessary. The general counsel and his assistants shall be duly qualified and admitted to practice law in Louisiana. The secretary may fix the compensation of each.
