RS 48:1276 - Preliminary and other expenses A. The Department of Transportation and Development is hereby authorized to expend out of any funds available for the purpose such moneys and to use such of its engineering and other forces, as may be necessary and desirable in the judgment of the Department of Transportation and Development, to enable and accelerate the beginning of the construction of the project constructed under the provisions hereof. B. The Department of Transportation and Development is hereby authorized to expend out of any funds available for the purpose such moneys as may be necessary for the study of any expressway project or projects and to use its engineering and other forces, including other consulting engineers and other traffic engineers, for the purpose of effecting such study and to pay for such additional engineering and traffic and other expert studies as it may deem expedient. C. All obligations and expenses incurred by the Department of Transportation and Development under this Section shall be paid by said department and charged to the appropriate expressway project or projects, and the department shall keep proper records and accounts showing each
