RS 48:13 - Department as body politic and corporate; secretary The Department of Transportation and Development is hereby declared to be a body politic and corporate by that title. The department shall function under the control, management, supervision and direction of the secretary in the manner and to the extent provided by Title 36 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950.
