RS 48:1609 - Eminent domain The authority shall have no power of eminent domain, but the parishes may, for purposes of the authority, exercise the broadest power of eminent domain available to them or any agency or joint agency thereof, under any statute, and convey to the authority any property so acquired upon payment or credit for the total cost of any acquisition hereunder. However, no local governing body shall exercise any power of eminent domain hereunder with respect to property located beyond its territorial limits. Added by Acts 1976, No. 638, §1.
