RS 48:208 - Surplus federal equipment and material The department may purchase, without advertising, surplus equipment, materials, and supplies offered for sale by the federal government, or its agencies, at the minimum prices established by the federal government or its agencies, when, in the discretion of the secretary, the purchases would be to the interest of the state.
