RS 48:2081 - Contracts; construction; project development; law enforcement A. Contracts of the authority for the construction, improvement, or maintenance of any authority project shall be made and awarded pursuant to Part XIII of Chapter 1 of this Title. B. The authority may contract with either* the state police, a law enforcement district, or municipal law enforcement agency or may create and form an authority police force to perform law enforcement and patrol functions on any authority project.
