RS 48:2139 - Contracts; construction; project development; law enforcement A. Contracts of the board on behalf of the authority for the construction, improvement, or maintenance of any authority project shall be made and awarded pursuant to applicable provisions of state law. B. The board, on behalf of the authority, may contract with either the state police, a law enforcement district, or municipal law enforcement agency to perform law enforcement and patrol functions on any authority project.
