RS 48:216 - Participation in highway associations The department may join and participate in associations formed by like departments of other states, territories, or foreign governments and with the United States Public Roads Administration or its successor, for the development and propagation of information concerning the construction, maintenance, and operation of public highways and the promotion of ideas concerning the safety and convenience of traffic thereon.
