RS 48:2192 - Classification of carriers A company or a driver shall not be considered a common carrier, contract carrier, or motor carrier, and shall not provide taxi or for hire vehicle service. In addition, a driver shall not be required to register the vehicle that the driver uses to provide prearranged rides as a commercial motor vehicle or a for hire vehicle. Acts 2019, No. 286, §2, eff.
