RS 48:282 - Sale of timber by the department; authority; use The department may sell timber which has been cut or felled on state highway rights-of-way. Any proceeds from such sale shall be dedicated to the Transportation Trust Fund to be used for maintenance and repair of roads not eligible for federal matching funds provided by the federal highway program.
