RS 48:341 - Channeling traffic by lines In the interest of the safety and convenience of motor vehicle operation, appropriate geometric designs and traffic regulatory devices shall be employed to provide separate channels for the movement of vehicles traveling in different directions and to regulate the maneuvering of vehicles within and between these traffic streams.
