RS 48:383 - Removable bridges over certain canals Where a highway is built across a drainage or irrigation canal which was dug by a floating dredge or which may be subject to cleaning or recleaning by a floating dredge, a bridge shall be built at the crossing of a design approved by the chief engineer which shall permit a quick, easy, and efficient removal and replacing to facilitate the cleaning of the canal.
