RS 48:776 - Advice and service of the Department of Transportation and Development The district and the board of commissioners therefor shall have, with respect to all of the powers and functions prescribed by this Part, the advice and services of the Department of Transportation and Development. Within reason, it shall be the duty of the secretary of the Department of Transportation and Development to make available such department staff, expertise, and support as the commission may request.
