RS 48:860 - Construction of connecting highways Upon the letting of a contract for the construction of a bridge under the provisions of this Sub-part, the director of highways shall commence or proceed with the construction of any highways necessary to connect the bridge with the state highway system. He shall complete this construction on or before the date the bridge is opened for traffic.
