RS 48:922 - Toll-charging by parishes prohibited except in certain cases Except as authorized in this Part, no parish, or any agent thereof, shall charge or collect from the public any toll for the crossing or use of any bridge owned by the parish and crossing a navigable stream. This Section does not affect or control owning parishes as to toll-bridges not fully paid for as of December 9, 1921, and not yet fully paid for, until the debt on such bridges has been liquidated.
