RS 48:995 - Unlawful crossing in Orleans In the parish of Orleans, whoever unlawfully crosses passengers for hire within the territorial limits exclusively assigned to any ferry under its franchise or charter shall for each offense be fined not more than fifty dollars or imprisoned for not less than five days nor more than thirty days, or both.
