RS 49:1402 - Definition of terms As used in this Chapter, the following terms have the meanings ascribed to them in this Section unless otherwise clearly indicated by context: (1) 'Agency' means any of the following state departments: (a) Department of Children and Family Services. (b) Department of Education. (c) Louisiana Department of Health. (d) Louisiana Workforce Commission. (2) 'Procedural reason' means a reason for an action on a program case related to an agency's nonreceipt of materials or information necessary for determining benefit eligibility. (3) 'Program' means any of the following: (a) Medicaid. (b) Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). (c) Family Independence Temporary Assistance (FITAP). (d) Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). (e) Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). (f) Unemployment Compensation.
