RS 49:5 - Penalty for interference with marks or buoys Whoever injures, mutilates, destroys, interferes with or removes any of the marks or buoys located, placed, anchored or moored, under the provisions of R.S. 49:4, shall be fined not less than one thousand dollars nor more than five thousand dollars, or imprisoned for not less than one year, nor more than five years, or both.
