RS 51:1023 - Finances The governor is authorized, on behalf of the state, to apply for and receive and accept from any federal agency, the state, and/or the political subdivisions of the state or from any source, public or private, grants, loans, or advances for or in the aid of an economic development cooperative endeavor project or projects of the Tri-State Delta Economic Alliance, including applications for empowerment zones, enterprise communities, and Funds for Rural America projects, and to give such security as may be required and to enter into and carry out contract agreements in connection therewith.
