RS 51:1447 - Prohibited acts A private child support collection agency providing support enforcement services to an obligee in this state or collecting support or arrears from an obligor shall not engage in any act which violates any provision of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 U.S.C. 1692 et seq., or the Federal Trade Commission Act, 15 U.S.C. 42 et seq.
