RS 51:2337 - Application for funding; procedures A. To qualify for funding for customized training services, an application shall be made to the corporation and shall be accompanied by an application describing the need for the services as well as a detailed explanation of the proposal and projected benefits and any other information the corporation deems appropriate. B. The corporation shall develop a formal workforce training award program that includes an application, review, evaluation, and award process and the corporation shall adopt rules and regulations promulgated in accordance with law. C. Each application shall be reviewed by the corporation's board to determine if such applicant is qualified to receive funding and whether he shall receive such funding. D. All approved applications shall be presented to the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget, the House Committee on Commerce, and the Senate Committee on Commerce, Consumer Protection, and International Affairs in the corporation's quarterly report in accordance with the provisions of R.S. 51:2319.
