RS 51:41 - Violations; penalty A. No person shall hold, conduct, or carry on any sale of goods as a fire, bankruptcy, or fiduciary sale contrary to the provisions of this Part. B. Whoever violates any of the provisions of this Part except as provided in R.S. 51:40 shall be fined not less than two hundred and fifty dollars nor more than one thousand dollars, or imprisoned for not less than three months nor more than six months, or both.
