RS 51:611 - Mammal to be known as marsh hare; name musk rat prohibited The common name of the flesh of the mammal ondatra zibethica rivalicia shall be marsh hare. The use of the name or appellation of musk rat in referring to the flesh of ondatra zibethica rivalicia is prohibited.
