RS 56:1948.2 - Definitions A 'Louisiana Byway' is defined as a state or local road designated by the state of Louisiana which represents the best the state has to offer as a recreational and educational experience to visitors desiring to view natural and man-made scenic resources, to experience the culture of the state, or to understand the history of the state.
