RS 56:480 - Catch limitations In the event the commission should determine that any or all areas are being overharvested, the commission is hereby authorized to impose catch rate limitations. The commission should consider catch rate information obtained from monthly reports, meat yield data, coincidence of low production in relation to clams as compared to other fisheries production for a given time frame, and any other information it deems pertinent in determining limitations. Any such limitations shall be made public no later than October 1 preceding the year affected. Added by Acts 1979, No. 616, §1.
