RS 56:636 - License requirements; possession; nontransferability A. Persons taking reptiles or amphibians, whether recreationally or commercially, and persons involved in the reptile and amphibian industry, including wholesale/retail dealers and transporters shall be licensed in accordance with this Subpart. B. Persons engaged in an activity for which a license is required shall have in their immediate possession a valid, original license and shall show such license upon demand to a duly authorized agent of the department. C. Except as provided in this Subpart, licenses cannot be assigned or transferred or used by any other person. An officer authorized to enforce the provisions of this Subpart shall take possession of any license found in the possession of any person other than the one to whom issued and shall deliver it to the department for cancellation. The license is thereupon void. D. The following applies to all licenses required by this Subpart: (1) No license may be issued until all information requested is supplied to the issuing agent. (2) Forms of acceptable payment for licenses shall be determined by the department.
