RS 56:68.2 - Federal enforcement; saltwater fisheries laws Commissioned law enforcement officers of the United States Department of the Interior and the National Marine Fisheries Service of the United States Department of Commerce shall have the same powers and duties as are provided for regularly commissioned officers of the enforcement division of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries to enforce any and all saltwater fisheries laws and regulations under the jurisdiction of the department, to make arrests, and to conduct searches and seizures. Such federal officers shall also be granted the rights, powers, privileges, and immunities provided by this Subpart in the fulfillment of such powers and duties. Acts 1995, No. 1316, §2.
